The special room rate - available only to IHRIM 2009 Conference attendees - of $229.00 single/double occupancy will be available until March 17, 2009 or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.

Please note that there is a city wide convention which is limiting the room availability at the Manchester Grand Hyatt outside of IHRIM's contracted room block, particularly on Tuesday evening, April 21. Thus you are encouraged to book your rooms early to guarantee a room at the Hyatt and at IHRIM's special room rate. Air Travel
The San Diego International Airport (SAN) is located three miles (five km) northwest of the central business district of San Diego. 18 major domestic airlines provide daily service to the top 150 markets and bring nearly 17 million visitors to the destination every year.

Shuttle vans and buses operated by off-airport companies are a popular and convenient transportation option. Shuttle service is available at the Transportation Plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2, and curbside at the Commuter Terminal.

Cloud 9 Shuttle offers transportation to and from the airport 24 hours per day at $6.00 per person each way. All major credit cards are accepted. After disembarking from your airplane or obtaining your luggage, follow the “Ground Transportation” signs to the “Shuttles for Hire” island. Locate a customer service representative to have a Cloud 9 Shuttle dispatched for you. Exclusive inner curb service is also available by reservation.

Weather
San Diego's sun-sational climate makes it the ultimate year-round destination and will put few demands on your wardrobe. Days are frequently warm, even in spring, so pack a pair (or two) of shorts. Evenings are pleasantly cool, so bring a light jacket. April's high averages 68°F and the low averages 55°F.
