The IHRIM 2009 Conference & Technology Exposition presents an ideal opportunity for you to connect with your peers. From casual networking at our continental breakfasts to interactive fun at our Tuesday evening reception, the people you meet at the IHRIM Conference could have the perfect solution to address your most difficult challenge. With the educational sessions, two evening receptions, continental breakfasts, lunches and the Expo Hall included in the full conference fee and conveniently located in the Manchester Grand Hyatt, quality networking has never been easier for you! 

Networking event tickets come with full registration packages and the One Day registration (only events on the day(s) you purchase). Individual guest event tickets may be purchased online or on site. 

First Timers Orientation

This session is designed for the first time IHRIM Conference attendee or those who have been away for awhile.  We’ll give you some tips on how to take advantage of the many opportunities the conference offers and allow time to network with other first time attendees and IHRIM leaders and staff while having some fun.

Get Connected Reception: Ships Ahoy!  A Nautical Welcome to San Diego

America's Cup, Fourth Level
Bordered by the cool, azure waters of the Pacific, San Diego is steeped in a longstanding nautical tradition. So don your nautical attire, hoist up the sails and chart a course for seaside fun as IHRIM welcomes you to San Diego. Our opening reception provides you with the opportunity to meet with fellow conference attendees, enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and beverages, and listen to the acoustic and contemporary sounds of Sweet Jimmy.
Suggested Attire: Nautical fashion, including white pants, dark navy, polo shirts, stripes, boat shoes, top-siders, bucket hats, sea captain caps, visors, anchor pendants.

Exposition Hall Lunch - Lunch on the Go

The Exposition Hall is open for your Lunch on the Go on Monday, April 20.  Enjoy your lunch and explore the exhibits to see the latest innovations from leading industry companies who are showcasing their products, technologies, and services.   

Tuesday Evening Reception: Surfs Up...Way Up

Nothing epitomizes the spirit of Southern California quite like perfect waves and seemingly infinite stretches of golden sand. With this in mind, IHRIM brings you an evening of the classic surf culture—from the sixties to today—for which the region is renowned. Test your pitching skills with indoor horseshoes, a Southern California favorite, get your portrait drawn by the Surfin’ Safari Caricaturist, catch a wave on the Surf Simulator, and dance to your favorite sixties and beach music.
Suggested Attire: Surf apparel, including shorts (especially boardshorts and walkshorts), Hawaiian shirts, surf t-shirts, hoodie sweatshirts, flip flops, sandals, puka shell necklaces.

Wednesday Closing Luncheon

 Wednesday's closing luncheon provides you with the opportunity to continue the conversation, exchange ideas, discuss what you saw and heard during the past two and a half days of the conference with colleagues from your industry.
