Henry Chung, HRIP
Manager, HR Technology and Operations
The Jackson Laboratory

In his current role as Manager of HR Technology & Operations, Henry analyzes the business needs, provides the analytics and advises the HR management team on how to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of delivering HR services through process designs, use of technology and/or outsourcing solutions and implements the chosen solutions.

An IHRIM member since 2008 (and HRIP certified since 2010), Henry accepted the invitation of Lynne Mealy, IHRIM’s past President/CEO, to serve on the 2012 Conference Content Committee. The volunteering experience was eye-opening. It expanded his horizons and increased his knowledge in the HRIS areas that he would not have been able to do as part of his regular work. He also gained satisfaction from contributing back to IHRIM.  Henry felt so strongly about his IHRIM volunteer experience that he served on the 2013 Conference Content Committee and then volunteered again for 2014! In addition to three years on the Content Committee, he is serving on the Education Committee for a two-year term (2014-2015).

An enthusiastic IHRIM supporter, Henry enjoys talking to people about what volunteering for IHRIM has meant to him and what it could mean to them.

As an IHRIM Volunteer Social Media Coordinator, she has assisted IHRIM staff in expanding and enhancing the Association’s social media presence while learning more about the HRIS field through reading the various online discussions and posts and contributing content and engaging in the discussions.  Denise volunteered as a Session Coordinator at the IHRIM 2013 Conference and served as a member of the 2014 Conference Content Committee.
