Foundation Initiatives
The Foundation’s flagship project was to fund the development of IHRIM’s Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) Certification Program – the only professional certification exam for human resource information professionals. Earning the HRIP credential indicates a demonstrated comprehensive understanding and proficiency of the defined body of knowledge in HR information management.

The HRIM Foundation’s support of the HRIP Certification program continues with the funding of the refresh and republishing of the HRIP certification exams and study material.

Another highly regarded Foundation project was a survey assessing how organizations and the human resource function are using social media. The special report and accompanying webinar, The Use of Social Media in Human Resources, provided insight into trends in and opinions on social media.

We are committed to advancing the HRIM industry and developing the next generation of HR information professionals through thought leadership, educational support and access to industry-leading research.
