About IHRIMedia
As a professional association, IHRIM serves a global community of executive management, senior-level human resource and information technology leadership, academicians, researchers, students, and other thought leaders and visionaries. For them, IHRIM has been the trusted source for vendor-neutral information and insights for forty-five years.
IHRIMedia is a division of IHRIM that focuses on the association's multimedia publications in every medium. Its objective is to support IHRIM's educational mission to inform our members about current and emerging products, practices, and people at the intersection of HR, IT, project management, and learning/development.
Workforce Solutions Review (WSR)
As our flagship publication, IHRIM’s quarterly peer-reviewed journal, WSR, is dedicated to increasing individual and organizational effectiveness in the workplace by presenting visionary and evolving technology uses. WSR also produces analytical reports, buyer guides for HR Technology, and other helpful resources for practitioners, educators, innovators, and administrators. SUBSCRIBE HERE
Emerging Technology Spotlight (formerly TRC)
Twelve times a year, examine, assess, and discuss new HR technologies from start-ups and mature suppliers that are truly unique and offer something different in the marketplace. Solution innovators present their ideas and solutions to common HR-related problems with candid discussions held on a confidential basis to benefit IHRIM members, guests, and the presenter. Emerging Technology Spotlight (ETS, formerly TRC or Technology Review Council) consists of two sessions patterned after IHRIM's successful webinar/convo style. HR experts from business, government, and academia attend the presentation one week, then reconvene with the presenter the next week to dive deeper through a rigorous Q&A into the practice, product, or service offered, providing constructively critical feedback. Past presenters have returned as products have evolved for updated and additional feedback. Past attendees included HR practitioners, directors, and CHROs, authors of HR technology texts and blogs, university instructors, consultants, researchers, investors, and former (not current) HR technology vendors. Vendors, consider Emerging Technology Spotlight your ideal focus group, then engage throughout the year as an IHRIM member, sponsor, or partner. REGISTER HERE

Guidelines for Content Creators
We welcome all submissions from IHRIM members and non-members who share the Association's passion for advancing HR-Tech practice. Since IHRIMedia serves the association's interests, all works and their creators, i.e., authors, presenters, inventors, and developers, are vetted by a peer-review committee consisting of WSR editors, IHRIM leaders, and independent analysts. Due to limited space, discretion for publication is solely retained by IHRIM, with preference given to IHRIM members, HRIP-certified professionals, and established subject matter experts.
Do you have an idea for an article, seminar, course, presentation, or podcast?
All assets published in WSR should primarily focus on human capital management (HCM), Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), or Human Resource Information Technology (HRIT). We define this as a nexus that includes human resource strategy and operations (e.g., benefits, recruiting, talent management, workforce management, payroll, etc.) and the information technology solutions required to manage them. Submissions involving the disciplines of human resources, information technology, project management, and learning and development are welcome.
Articles may be considered for both digital and print publication, and all pitches are evaluated by the WSR Editorial Committee according to the following criteria:
Articles are accepted with the understanding that their content is the author’s original work and has not been previously published in electronic or print form. Unless specifically contracted and noticed as marketing content, creators should not include an explicit sales pitch for any product or service.
IHRIM offers sponsorship opportunities for businesses, government agencies, and other organizations wishing to support IHRIM, one or more of its content creators, or directly advertise to our community.
When Your "Pitch" is Accepted
If your content or proposal is accepted for publication, we may send you additional information if you are a first-time or infrequent contributor. Further formatting and desired length guidelines may be included, as these can change from time to time.
While we do not have a strict word count, most published articles are between 500 and 1,500. We have fewer restrictions for digital-only publications. Charts, tables, and graphs count as two hundred (250) words each and should be submitted in separate files from the text at high resolution (greater than 600 dpi) for the fastest consideration.
IHRIM reserves all editorial copyrights. Articles and presentations may be edited for space, clarity, and conformance to IHRIM’s editorial style guidelines.
Starting in 2025, authors and presenters are expected to schedule a 30-minute audio and video interview for podcasting and promotional purposes. See all the guidelines HERE.
Author/Presenter Biography & Headshot
Please include a brief biography with your name, title, current company or organization, academic or professional affiliations, relevant experience in the HR/HR technology field, educational background, and other relevant credentials. A high-resolution (greater than 600 dpi) headshot in jpg or png format is also required.
Charts & Graphics
Any graphics (charts, figures, tables, graphs, etc.) should be professionally prepared and submitted in a form suitable for electronic and print reproduction. Each should be captioned as a figure or table and numbered sequentially in the text. They may be incorporated into the text for purposes of placement but should also be submitted separately. We can accept .jpg, .tif, or PDF. All images provided must be at least 6oo dpi and 500 kb (ideally higher and larger).
Creator Agreement
If your article or presentation is accepted, you may be required to sign a separate creator agreement or memorandum of understanding. When you submit your work through our online form, IHRIM will permit you to publish it, transferring the copyright to us. There are no compensatory considerations or royalties paid to creators.
