In this capacity, he oversees presales strategy and execution, with specific responsibilities including go-to-market messaging, commercialization strategy, sales enablement, prospect & customer engagement, alliance management, and product thought leadership. With 12+ years of experience in analytics & planning, Mick has delivered hundreds of presentations and workshops to public- and private-sector organizations on how to build their capabilities for data-driven decision-making in HR.

Mick has a master’s degree in political science from Virginia Tech and a BA (Hons) in Economics & Politics from the University of Leeds, England.

Stacey Harris

Ms. Harris is VP of Research and Analytics for Sierra-Cedars growing industry research function, including the esteemed Annual HR Systems Survey and White Paper, now in its 20th year. A former executive with HR research firms Bersin & Associates by Deloitte and Brandon Hall, she is a frequent speaker at HR events both in the U.S. and abroad, and quoted in major media outlets such as Forbes, FastCompany, and HR Executive Magazine.

Prior to joining the research community, Harris obtained her Master’s in Education, worked as a consultant and practitioner, and led multiple HR, Talent Management, and Learning initiatives for fortune 100 organizations around the world. Stacey also co-hosts the popular HR Tech Weekly Radio Show every Thursday morning at HR Examiner, covering HR Technology news and trends.

A numbers first HR professional throughout his 3+ decade career Jim takes great delight in linking human capital to organizational effectiveness. Jim has been involved in virtually every aspect of corporate leadership, project management, systems implementation, financial management, people management and development. He has lectured, conducted workshops, and been published nationally.

Jim’s previous volunteer roles with IHRIM include: Board Member 2003 – 2006, 2015 – Present, Board Chair 2016-2018, CFO, Vice Chair, Finance Committee, Conference Committee, Chapter President, and Chapter Vice President.

Jim has a master’s Degree in systems management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Business Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Maryland.

For more than 35 years, Dennis Hill, PhD has been a change agent and solutions architect, serving on more than 20 boards in business, industry, and education, including EXACTA Corporation, a forty-three-year-old business specializing in software architects and solutions.

As a young professor in the '80s and '90s, Dr. Hill founded one of the first accredited computer science & engineering programs in the USA. Concurrently, while working with businesses, he led the development of the first enterprise-class CRM solution on Oracle/Sun Servers in the '80s, integrating ERP but uniquely spanning all contact relationships, including sales, supply chain, workforce recruitment, and HRIS. He is an avid believer in both formal and continuing education, professional development, and certifications. Dr. Hill has earned advanced degrees in biomedical and computer science engineering, business, and law, and is active in SHRM and HRCI, and a Practitioner in the Assn. for Conflict Resolution.

He volunteered as a biomedical engineer and assisted in wound care at Port-au-Prince, Haiti in the immediate aftermath of the 2010 earthquake with Hope International.

Sharon McLaughlin is an HR leader with over 25 years’ experience as an HR generalist, project leader and shared services manager. She is currently the Employee Service Management Manager for the City of Ottawa. In this role, she is responsible for leading the Payroll, Pensions and Benefits Service Centre team.

Sharon is passionate about developing tools and services to make it easier for employees and managers to navigate the world of HR and Payroll. She is known for her ability to bring people together, see opportunities and implement process and technology changes to improve service delivery. Over the years, she has led several transformational projects for the City of Ottawa, including the implementation of HR self-service portal features and the development of the HR shared service centre model. She has been successful because of her ability to build momentum, manage change, and engage teams to improve the employee experience.

Sharon enjoys helping people reach their personal goals. She believes in mentorship, bringing people together to share experiences and navigate change. Sharon is a coach, holds the HRIP certification and is a Certified Change Management Professional through the ACMP.

Maral Parciael is an HR leader with 12 years’ experience in supporting organizations in leveraging HR technology solutions and transforming the HR service delivery models. He is an advocate for using HR Technology to it full capabilities and implementing process improvements to help drive business initiatives. Maral is currently the HR Transformation Manager for Saint Peter’s Healthcare System. In the role, he is responsible for leading the HR Shared Services Team and the HR Technology team. This position allows Maral to create an HR Technology Strategy and roadmap to improve employee experience and automate HR transactions. He also mentors’ analysts on the importance of requirements gathering, testing and change management to ensure successful implementations.

Maral obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and his master’s in business administration from Valdosta State University. He also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Scrum Master and IHRIM HRIP.

He has co-authored six books on Business Process Management (BPM), and has published articles in IHRIM Workforce Solutions Review and The Saturday Evening Post. Byron Johnson is a HR solution technologist with over 20 years experience in HR and IT. His experience ranges from solution design, business case development, HR technology evaluation, and global HR technology implementation. Byron is currently an HR Solution & Strategy Lead for Onboarding, Offboarding & Talent at Merck, Inc & Co. Within this role, he is responsible for driving the development of a consistent HR Technology roadmap as well as accountable for driving the HR digital agenda for emerging technologies such as robotic process automation or AI. Prior to this strategy role, he was an HRIS manager for recruiting, talent and restructuring systems and held multiple positions in IT. Byron is an advocate of continuous learning, collaboration, critical thinking and practicing a growth mindset.
Lauretta Siggers

Lauretta Siggers joined Cambridge College in 2013 and is currently the Vice President of Human Resources and Talent Development. She has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles for organizations nationally recognized for excellence in their fields. Prior to joining Cambridge College, she served as Regional Chief Operating Officer/Interim Chief Executive Officer for the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts, one of the nation’s largest Red Cross units. She was able to provide leadership and overall management of the financial and operational functions of the Eastern Massachusetts Region.

Prior to this role, she served as National Human Resources Officer for BELL where she evaluated business development and strategic plans and made changes to increase and grow revenue for the organization. In this position, she was able to provide management and recruitment for over 1,100+ full-time and part-time employees regionally, including Boston, Springfield, MA, New York, Baltimore, MD and Detroit, MI.

Much of Lauretta’s career has been in organizations where she was responsible for building infrastructure, designing and executing programs and processes, and building high performance teams through effective coaching, training and development. She has been involved in a number of non-profit boards and currently serves as the Secretary of the Board for Garden of Eden and Associates and serves on the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women's Advisory Council.

Lauretta attended Johnson and Wales University and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Phoenix. She received an Advanced Certificate in Human Resources Management from Bentley University and graduated with an MBA from Cambridge College.

As the Senior Manager, Value Services at Visier, a leading people analytics software provider, Kevin leads a team of People Analytics Consultants who help transform people and processes within organizations who use Visier’s People Analytics technology solution.

Prior to Visier, Kevin was a director at Vancouver Coastal Health, where he led the people analytics and HR systems transformation efforts. Kevin is a 15 year veteran in the People Analytics space and has deep experience in HR systems, data warehousing, data analysis techniques and strategic workforce planning. Kevin holds a designation as a CPA which informs his management consulting practice as well as certifications in change management from Prosci(c) and Strategic Workforce Planning from HCI.
