Mick Collins is a Global Vice President for the SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics & Planning products. In this capacity, he oversees presales strategy and execution, with specific responsibilities including go-to-market messaging, commercialization strategy, sales enablement, prospect & customer engagement, alliance management, and product thought leadership. With 12+ years of experience in analytics & planning, Mick has delivered hundreds of presentations and workshops to public- and private-sector organizations on how to build their capabilities for data-driven decision-making in HR.

Mick has a master’s degree in political science from Virginia Tech and a BA (Hons) in Economics & Politics from the University of Leeds, England.

Stacey Harris

Ms. Harris is VP of Research and Analytics for Sierra-Cedars growing industry research function, including the esteemed Annual HR Systems Survey and White Paper, now in its 20th year. A former executive with HR research firms Bersin & Associates by Deloitte and Brandon Hall, she is a frequent speaker at HR events both in the U.S. and abroad, and quoted in major media outlets such as Forbes, FastCompany, and HR Executive Magazine.

Prior to joining the research community, Harris obtained her Master’s in Education, worked as a consultant and practitioner, and led multiple HR, Talent Management, and Learning initiatives for fortune 100 organizations around the world. Stacey also co-hosts the popular HR Tech Weekly Radio Show every Thursday morning at HR Examiner, covering HR Technology news and trends.
Doug Sampson

Doug is the Founder and CEO of Soteritech, LLC, whose mission is to help organizations detect and deter insider threats to their intellectual property through program development, training and Carnegie Mellon certified assessments. Doug has over 28 years of experience in technology and business consulting, with a focus on human resources.

As a technical leader managing large-scale human resource initiatives and building coalitions across government and industry, Doug has grown through the technology ranks as a mainframe and client server developer, to systems architect, web designer, and technical consultant. His focus now is on the human side of cybersecurity, preventing insider threats.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Maryland. Subsequently he completed the Systems Engineering program through Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He has also completed certifications in Cybersecurity, Insider Threat Prevention, Human Capital Strategy and Strategic Workforce Planning.

She is passionate about leveraging data and technology in automating business processes and enabling fact-based business decision making.

With over 15 years of comprehensive experience in HR technology for leading global companies across diverse industries (including Financial Services, Consumer Products, Media & Entertainment and LifeSciences), Ebby brings a wealth of expertise with particular strengths in areas such as HR technology strategies, change management, mergers/acquisitions/divestitures, analytics and global system deployments.

Ebby holds a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management Information Systems from Seton Hall University. She enjoys yoga, hikes, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Jim Pettit, HRIP

For more than twenty-five years, Jim Pettit created award winning teams for some of the top companies in North America.

Talent acquisition systems were developed, talent was recruited, trained, and mentored, and customer satisfaction and revenues grew under his able direction. He earned success and recognition, but that wasn’t enough. In 2003, Pettit walked away from a corporate career to follow a disire to experience accountability for the P&L side of business.

Jim founded Talent Management Systems, Inc. where he was dedicated to helping current and future business leaders transition into new business opportunities. Jim also had ownership interest in an Island Ink-Jet franchise. After his four-year business ownership apprenticeship, Jim returned to the Human Capital systems industry as an Executive Consultant for Jeitosa Group International supporting numerous clients in the stategic application and deployment of the Workday Human Capital Management SaaS. Towers Watson recruited Jim to provide project management guidance in their fledging Workday deployment practice after which he took his talents back to the corporate world when he joined CareFusion to lead their global deployment of Workday. After building CareFusion’s HR systems management infrastructure Jim was contracted by Kimberly-Clark to provide his expertise to their Halyard Health, now Avanos Medical, spin where he is currently employed.

Prior to launching Talent Management Systems, Jim was a senior leader with ADP where he managed a $25M budget, leading the recruitment, development, and assignment of a 100-person consulting team across a book of business spanning dozens of clients and a variety of HR/Payroll/Financial systems related projects. Jim was a key member of a leadership team awarded the highest internal distinction for customer satisfaction, profitability, and employee effectiveness.

A numbers first HR professional throughout his career Jim takes great delight in linking human capital to organizational effectiveness. Jim has been involved in virtually every aspect of corporate leadership, project management, systems implementation, financial management, people management and development. He has lectured, conducted workshops, and been published nationally.

Jim currently serves as the Past Chairman of the Board for the International Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM) https://ihrim.org/ . His previous volunteer roles with IHRIM include: Board Member 2003 – 2006, 2015 – 2019, Board Chair 2016-2018, CFO, Vice Chair, Finance Committee, Conference Committee, Chapter President, and Chapter Vice President.

A recipient of a master’s Degree in systems management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Business Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Maryland.

Jim has received certification in Human Resources, Human Resources Information, project management, client relationship management, Total Quality Management facilitation, sales, negotiation, strategic management and Workday HCM.

Jim and his wife, Mary Beth, have been married for 31 years. They have two children, Jamie McLynn, age 27, Bridget, age 24 and one son-in-law Ryan.

Matthew Hanwell

With over 25 years of experience in people centric information technology Matthew has been responsible for developing strategy and driving the implementation of HR systems and technology, Cloud and SaaS solutions, people analytics, and new ways of working focusing on community and collaboration. Matthew is the co-author of the book: The Workplace Community – Palgrave Macmillan, 2014.

Matthew is currently Director, HR Process and Operational Development at Fiskars, a global consumer good company. Matthew joined Fiskars in 2016, and led the business case development, solution selection and the implementation of the global HRIS – Workday in 32 Counties.

Prior to Fiskars, Matthew worked at several global companies holding HR systems and technology roles at ABB – Global HRIS Service Line Lead, SAP SuccessFactors – Customer Engagement Executive, Amer Sports – Global Program Leader – Workday selection & Implementation, NorthgateArinso – Business Consulting Lead.

Matthew worked at Nokia from 1997 – 2012, where he held several global positions within HR and IT including HR Director Community and Social Media. His accomplishments include implementing the global ERP (SAP HR) solution in 56 countries, developing and implementing a portfolio of web-based (e-HR) solutions and services (Performance Management, Compensation Management, Recruiting, Reporting and Analytics), developing the concepts of community ways of working and establishing a portfolio of social media and collaboration capabilities.

Before Nokia, Matthew spent 11 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, in Project Management, and HRIT roles, including European HRIS manager. While at Digital Matthew was responsible to a suite of home grown European HRIS and was a key member of the PeopleSoft selection and implementation team.

Matthew has been a speaker and panelist at numerous international events and conferences, presenting on HR Technology, HR analytics, Community and Collaboration.

For more than 35 years, Dennis Hill, PhD has been a change agent and solutions architect, serving on more than 20 boards in business, industry, and education, including EXACTA Corporation, a forty-three-year-old business specializing in software architects and solutions.

As a young professor in the '80s and '90s, Dr. Hill founded one of the first accredited computer science & engineering programs in the USA. Concurrently, while working with businesses, he led the development of the first enterprise-class CRM solution on Oracle/Sun Servers in the '80s, integrating ERP but uniquely spanning all contact relationships, including sales, supply chain, workforce recruitment, and HRIS. He is an avid believer in both formal and continuing education, professional development, and certifications. Dr. Hill has earned advanced degrees in biomedical and computer science engineering, business, and law, and is active in SHRM and HRCI, and a Practitioner in the Assn. for Conflict Resolution.

He volunteered as a biomedical engineer and assisted in wound care at Port-au-Prince, Haiti in the immediate aftermath of the 2010 earthquake with Hope International.

Fayth Jones, HRIP is a HR Technologist working as a HRIS Manager at Arent Fox LLP in Washington, D.C. Fayth spent the early years of her career working as a HR and Payroll practitioner in the nuclear engineering, property management, healthcare and retail industries. During this period, she implemented and optimized technology solutions, increasing process efficiency and user adoption.

Fayth transitioned to a full-time HR Technologist role three years ago, having had success in learning and applying various HCM technology solutions to organizational needs. Joining the technology team and stepping out of the traditional practitioner role allowed Fayth to fully service her clients within the organization by bridging the gap between HR, Payroll and IT. Fayth is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.

Maral is currently the HR Transformation Manager for Saint Peter’s Healthcare System. In the role, he is responsible for leading the HR Shared Services Team and the HR Technology team.
